Whimsy Inspiration Challenge - Challenge #89

Hi Everyone!

Today I'd like to share with you my Whimsy Inspiration Challenge card! I forgot to post it on Wednesday when the challenge went live... but that's ok because its a good chance to remind you that the challenge is open all month long! ;)

The Whimsy Inspiration Challenge theme for January is

"Love"!  

For this card I've used the sweet 'Snowman Love' from the Krista Heij-Barber Collection. I've also used called 'Scripted Love' word die and 'Elegant Snowflakes' die set, and all of these are available at Whimsy Stamps. 

The image is stamped with Momento Tuxedo ink, coloured with Copic markers and then die-cut with Nestabilities Labels 1.

The papers are from the Sweet Shoppe Designs 'Mrs Frost' digital kit, and I also used the Snow Kisses sentiment and fussy cut a couple of trees from this kit.

I used some stickles for the snow and on the snowflakes, and a few pearls to finish.

Whimsy Inspiration Challenge 80

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are having a great week! Today I wanted to share a Whimsy Stamps card I've made for the February Whimsy Inspiration Challenge.

The theme for this month's challenge is: "Use a Sentiment"

Remember, you don't have to use a Whimsy image on your challenge creation (although it would be great if you did!). Also, your entry doesn't have to be a card - we welcome all paper projects!

For this card I have used a sentiment from the 'Family Forever' set designed by Denise Lynn for the  Whimsy Sentiments Collection, available at Whimsy Stamps.

 

The tree and sentiment are stamped in Memento Cocoa ink, and then sponged around with Memento Dew Drop 'Summer Sky' and 'New Sprout'. I framed the image tree with a lacy circle die, and trimmed a border around the sentiment.

 

The papers are from the Graphic 45 'Time to Flourish' 8x8 paper pad, and I used lace and pearls to finish.
