Whimsy Inspiration - You Rock!

Hi Everyone!

I have another card to share with you today from the fabulous
Whimsy Stamps April 2016 Release!

This card features a fun stamp called 'You Rock' from the Krista Heij-Barber Collection available at the Whimsy Stamps store.


The image is stamped in Momento Tuxedo ink and coloured with Copic markers.


The papers are from the Sweet Shoppe Designs 'The One That I Want' digital kit, and I've used some of the elements too.

Digi Bell's March 2016 Blog Hop

I printed the image once onto wood patterned paper for the background. I printed again onto blending card which I coloured with Copic markers and fussy cut, then added the pieces I wanted onto the card.


The papers are from the Sweet Shoppe Designs 'Splendor' digital kit and the sentiment is in the "Girl Talk" sentiments from Whimsy Stamps.

Digi Bells GDT - Click!

Hi Everyone!

I'm back today with another Guest DT card for The Digi Bells!

I have used an adorable digital stamp from Elisabeth Bell called 'Click!'. This image can be found along with the whole Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection HERE.


The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamps 'Travel 2 - Happy Travels' sentiment set, and I have framed it with the Whimsy Stamps 'Fancy Label Die'.

The image is coloured with Copic markers, and the papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs  'Life 101 - Dare to Bloom' digital kit.
  
I used a piece of wide pink satin ribbon, and finished with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and some pearls.

Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge - Green & Gold

Hi Everyone!

It's time for the February
Our theme this month is
Green & Gold! (St Patrick's Day)
Don't forget that you must use an Elisabeth Bell image on your project, but this can be a digi or a rubber stamp from any store, as long as the artist is Elisabeth Bell. You can find the challenge rules here.

For my Green & Gold card I have used 'Little Mama' from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  I have also used 'Girl Talk' sentiments and Mini Gift Tag Dies from Whimsy Stamps.


The image is coloured with Copic markers and fussy cut out, then added to a Romantic rectangle die cut.

The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs 'A Little Kindness' digital kit and the lace and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Digi Bell's February 2016 Blog Hop

I have used both of these images on a pop-up card with a little tea-party scene.


The pop-up card was cut out using my Silhouette Portrait and a file from the Silhouette design store.

The images are coloured with Copic markers and fussy cut, then added to the card. (I think I can almost get away with the little girl sitting down ;) I've have added an Elisabeth Bell kitten from another digital image to join her for tea.

Whimsy Inspiration Challenge - Challenge #90

Hi Everyone!

Today I'd like to share with you my Whimsy Inspiration Challenge card!
The Whimsy Inspiration Challenge theme for February is
"Anything Goes"!  

My card today features the sweet 'Jenny' from Wee Stamps. I have also used the 'Layered Snowflake Dies' and 'Girl Talk' sentiments, both are also available at Whimsy Stamps.


For this card I decided to make another Snow Globe card on my Silhouette Portrait, but this time wanted to have a different background so that the image pops a bit more. I  used a digital paper from the Sweet Shoppe Designs 'Believe in Magic - Ice Magic' digital kit.
 

The image is stamped with Momento Tuxedo ink, coloured with Copic markers, then fussy cut, and added to the centre of the card.


I used Fun Flock to give her a fluffy coat, and added Stickles for some sparkly snowflakes, and finished with a few pearls.

My card today features the gorgeous 'Little Helper' from Wee Stamps. I am loving these sweet stamps! I have also used the 'Layered Snowflake Dies' and 'Winter Brackets' sentiments, both available at Whimsy Stamps.


The image is stamped in Momento Tuxedo ink and coloured with Copic markers, then fussy cut and double mounted onto the card.


The papers are from the Sweet Shoppe Designs 'Believe in Magic - Ice Magic' digital kit, and I've added some sparkle to the papers with some Stardust Stickles.



I finished with some Fun Flock on her coat and some more stickles on the snowballs and snowflake dies.

Whimsy Inspiration - Gone Fishing!

Hi Everyone!
I have Whimsy inspiration for you today!

For this card I inked up this sweet image called 'Gone Fishing' from our fabulous new Whimsy artist Lee Holland. You can find all of Lee's gorgeous new stamps right now at the Whimsy Stamps store.

The image is coloured with Copic markers and the sky is shaded with chalks to create clouds.
 

The sentiment is called 'Sun-Sational Circle Sentiments' and is also Whimsy Stamps, but unfortunately is an older set and no longer available at the Whimsy Stamps store... but you could try other retailers.


The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs 'Carolina Coast' digital kit, and all edges have been sponged with Frayed Burlap Distress ink.

I finished with some Kaisercraft flowers and pearls.

Whimsy Inspiration Challenge - Challenge #89

Hi Everyone!

Today I'd like to share with you my Whimsy Inspiration Challenge card! I forgot to post it on Wednesday when the challenge went live... but that's ok because its a good chance to remind you that the challenge is open all month long! ;)

The Whimsy Inspiration Challenge theme for January is
"Love"!  
For this card I've used the sweet 'Snowman Love' from the Krista Heij-Barber Collection. I've also used called 'Scripted Love' word die and 'Elegant Snowflakes' die set, and all of these are available at Whimsy Stamps



The image is stamped with Momento Tuxedo ink, coloured with Copic markers and then die-cut with Nestabilities Labels 1.


The papers are from the Sweet Shoppe Designs 'Mrs Frost' digital kit, and I also used the Snow Kisses sentiment and fussy cut a couple of trees from this kit.


I used some stickles for the snow and on the snowflakes, and a few pearls to finish.

Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge - Valentine's

Hi Everyone!

Today I have some fun news! I've been invited to join the Digi Bells, Elisabeth Bell's fabulous design team as a guest for the next 3 months!

Of course I already get to play with Elisabeth's adorable stamps on the Whimsy DT, but she has different ranges with several stores plus her own digital store, so it'll be an EB sweetness overload around here!!

The papers are from Sweet Shoppe Designs 'The Other Side of Me' digital kit. The pearl flourishes are from Kaisercraft and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Whimsy Stamps Release News & Inspiration

My card today features the sweet 'Coralia' from the Art by MiRan Collection. She's an absolute darling! I have also used the 'Stitched Circles Die Set' and 'Vines Die Set', and all these are available at the Whimsy Stamps store.


My image is stamped in Momento Tuxedo ink and coloured with Copic markers. I then fussy cut her and the bubbles and added to an 'underwater' paper.
I used some brown cardstock and my Whimsy Stitched circle dies to create a porthole through some wood patterned paper, and popped it up over Coralia, so that she is 'peeking' through.


I diecut some vines and adhered 'coral' coloured flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, along with some pearl sprays. The sentiment is computer generated and diecut with a HOTP label die.


I finished with some stickles on the air bubbles, and some fabulous stars that I received in a Christmas swap from the gorgeous Maya Go! (Thank you so much Maya!)

I hope you all had wonderful Christmas and New Year celebrations! We had lots of lovely family gatherings from Christmas through to New Years, with lots of catching up, laughing, and way too much food! We had very hot weather too, so probably very different from a lot of my northern hemisphere friends! ;-)

The papers are from the Sweet Shoppe Designs 'Bula! - Watercolours' digital papers, and they seemed perfect for my arty friend!

I finished with a few red pearls.
