This image is "Driving" by Lia Stampz, and is available from today at Whimsy Stamps. Doesn't he look so cheerful, toodling along, whistling a happy tune? So I thought this sentiment was appropriate, as a reminder that often the joy really is in the journey, not just the destination.
This paper was so perfect for the image, that I didn't want to add too much to cover it up, so just a few buttons and I felt it was done! ;)

Big News & Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #8

Hi Everyone!!

Well I have some VERY exciting news!! I am thrilled to announce that I am now a member of the fabulous Heart Song Design Team!
I'd like to thank Leah very much for offering me a position - even though I have no DT experience at all. But she has a gorgeous range of digital stamps, and a kind heart, so here I am - a Heart Song Design Team Member!!

So now I will definitely be making regular Blog posts - each Monday you will see my entry for the Heart Song Inspiration Challenge! Make sure you check out what my fellow DT members come up with too... And join in the FUN yourself!!

So now onto my VERY FIRST challenge for Heart Song....

This weeks Heart Song Inspiration Challenge #8 is... Anything Goes/Favorite Technique!
Now that gives you plenty of scope to go wild and have loads of FUN!! So... start playing and then load up your marvelous creations on the Heart Song Inspiration site!

Here's my challenge card - using the gorgeous Very Cherry Frame (found HERE!), combined with a sweet Create with TLC sentiment, and my favourite techniques of Copic colouring and 3D mounting. Hope you like it!

And a tricky camera angle to show off the stamp and my speccy 3D work...

Back again with another card! ;)

My sweet friend Julie has a fabulous online store called Paper and Such, and of course there is an awesome Paper and Such Blog and Design Team to go with it. Ewe Look Gorgeous Da-ah-ah-hling!

Hi Everyone!

Thought I'd forgotten I had a Blog, didn't you?
Well... maybe it kind of slipped my mind for a while ;)

But when I had a card to make for a friend of the family I decided to look up a sketch... And if I'm working from a sketch then I may as well enter the challenge, right?

So, here is the card I made for our friend, Kathy. She has a farm just up the road from us and breeds sheep, so this image from TLC was perfect for her card. Kathy is a bright and vibrant person (with pink in her hair!!), so I picked bright colours from the DCWV Summer stack. I don't usually use these sort of colours, so it was fun to play a little!

The sketch is the Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #73.
