Whimsy Challenge - Ruffles

I have some exciting Whimsy News for you! Starting this month there's going to be a new challenge every month in the Whimsy Stamps and Inspiration Facebook Group!

The theme for February is "Something New" and since we are so close to Valentine's Day I had to go with "New Love"!

This cute and fun stamp is from the latest Whimsy Stamps New Release, and is called "Ruffles" by Time 4 Tea Designs.
I have also used the new "All You Need Is Love" set from SC Designs Collection, for both the sentiments and I also made some embellishments with the heart and adorable little kiss stamps. I love this set and can see myself using it heaps!

I gave her a nice new paper-pieced dress with Crate Paper 'Paper Heart' papers. I also fussy-cut some hearts from my offcuts of the patterned paper and popped them up.

I was so excited when I found this Artsy.licious 'Ruby' crocheted lace in my stash, as it went perfectly with the colours. Don't you just love it when that happens? ;)

Colouring Medium/Ink: Memento 'Tuxedo' Ink, Copics, Distress Ink 'Antique Linen' and 'Festive Berries';
Papers: Cardstock - SU; DP - Crate Paper 'Paper Heart Collection' 6x6 papers;

Embellishments: Artsy.licious 'Ruby' Splendid Ribbons, (Layered hearts are cut from paper, and small hearts and lips are part of "All You Need is Love" stamp set listed above);

Tools/Other: Cuttlebug and Embossing Mat, Scissors for fussy cutting, MFT Oval STAX, Mounting Foam.
