Whimsy June Facebook Challenge!

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm here to share my card for this months Whimsy Stamps Facebook Challenge!

This sweet image and matching sentiment is from our most recent Whimsy Stamps New Release, and is called "Ciara & Penny" by Sandy Allnock's Ciara's Friends Collection.

 

I used Copics to colour the image, and some chalks to create a soft sky background.

 

The papers are from a Sweet Shoppe Designs digital kit called 'Memorable: Vacation', and I finished with some Glossy Accent water droplets and Dew Drops.

Ella & Maya

Hi Everyone!

I have another card to share with you today using an image from our most recent Whimsy Stamps Rubber and Die Release.

This stamp is called "Ella & Maya", and is from Sandy Allnock's range of cute rubber stamps 'Ciara's Friends'.  I have also used the fab "Girl Talk" Sentiments from "Simonne Clay Designs" and the "Tabula Rasa Frames" from Raindrop Echo Design Collection. All of these are available at the Whimsy Stamps store.

 

I used Copics to colour the image, and sponged around with Distress Ink 'Antique Linen'.

 

The papers are from a digital kit from Pixels & Company called  'Delighted' (by Wishing Well Creations). I paper-pieced her dress and also used some of the printable embellishments.

Whimsy Inspiration - Oliver & Shayla

Hi Everyone!

Just popping on to share a little Whimsy Inspiration with you today!

This image is from Whimsy's January New Release and is called "Oliver and Shayla" by new Whimsy designer Sandy Allnock. Isn't it a sweetie? You can check out Sandy's cute new collection called 'Ciara's Friends' at the Whimsy store HERE.

I coloured sweet "Oliver and Shayla" with Copics, and used chalks to create some clouds for the background.
The papers are Crate Paper 'Pretty Party' (I think have a nice 'country' feel to them), and I used this weeks Deconstructed Sketch No135 as a guide.

There are several great sentiments that come with this stamp set, so I used a simple (HUG) on the front and one that reads "Snuggles make everything so much better" on the inside.
Just a couple of flowers and pearls was all I used to finish it off.
