Whimsy 24 Days of Christmas Event - Day 21!

Hi Everyone!

I'm here today to share my creations for the Whimsy Stamps
24 Days of Christmas Event!

As I'm sure you know by now, the Whimsy Stamps design team are holding a fun event here on the Whimsy blog in the run up to Christmas. Each day from the 1st to the 24th of December, a member of the design team will be sharing a Whimsy holiday creation and today is my turn!

 

Each day during the event we are posting a letter.  Visit us every day, make a note of each letter and keep them safe.  Once you have collected all 24 letters, you should be able to unscramble them and make a 4 word phrase. Email your phrase to whimsystampscontests@gmail.com by 31st December 2013, and if you've guessed correctly, you will be entered into the draw to win a fantastic GRAND PRIZE! 

 

For today's card I used an older image that I've been wanting to use for ages, "Two Turtle Doves" by Elisabeth Bell. I love her sweet, excited face!

I also used "Everyday Sayings Notables 4" sentiments - Delight in the Little Things (I love this saying!) I stamped the sentiment twice so that I could layer them.

 

I used lots of pearls and Stickles for the ice and snow, and even used some pleated ribbon and crocheted lace.



 

I would also like to share this card I made for a special Whimsy Stamps feature in the "Magnolia Ink Magazine - Christmas Issue". I was so happy to be included in their gorgeous magazine!

  

For this card I used the adorable Wee Stamps image "Winter Friends", stamped twice, fussy cut, and double mounted for extra dimension.

   

 

I also used "Spell It Out" alphabet set and matching die, "Layered Snowflake Dies" and "Snowflake Border Die" with Stickles and pearls for sparkle.
