Whimsy Stamps 12 Days of Christmas Event!!

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to the final day of our "12 Days of Christmas" Celebration at Whimsy Stamps! I hope you've enjoyed all of our Design Team projects, and have entered to win the fun prizes! If not don't worry... you still have time to pop over to the Whimsy Inspiration Blog and find out all about it!

Today it's my turn to post my creations here and on the Whimsy blog... hope you like them!

I have made three things for this event... a Bendi Card, a Gift Candle and a Tower Gift Box.

The Bendi Card base is a cut file from Dreaming Tree which I cut out using my Silhouette Portrait (I seriously love this machine!) :)

I then created a little scene using 'Penguins Carry the Tree' by Crissy Armstrong and 'Gifts for Grandma' by Elisabeth Bell. It is curved so here is another angle...

Here is a list of Whimsy Product used in this project:

My second project is a Candle onto which I've transferred 'Christmas Giraffe' by Crissy Armstrong. I got the inspiration for this project from Kathy Jones "Inspired to Stamp", but I had trouble finding waxed paper that she has used in her tutorial. So my genius Mum came up with a great idea.... rubbing a candle onto baking paper to make a wax film on my own paper worked brilliantly! Thanks both Mum and Kathy!

My final project for this event is a Tower Gift Box using Holiday Holly Giving by Elisabeth Bell, and a gift tag made from a Double Scallop Tag die and Winter Wonderland sentiment.

Again I have used my Silhouette to cut out the box design (see products listed below).

Thank you so much for visiting today and I'd like to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and safe and very Happy New Year!

And thank you for all your support and encouraging comments throughout the year... they mean so very much to me!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Here's what I used for the three projects:

Dear Shannah, I am impressed with all 3 of these projects! The bendi-fold card looks amazing! I've been wanting to make one of these ever since I saw my first one but have not had the courage to attempt it (yet). Yours is awesome! I love the stamps and dies you used! So many gorgeous details! Your candle is gorgeous! Another crafty project I would like to try! And the gift box is gorgeous - at first I thought this was a Christmas cracker but now I can see it's a gift box! Love the stamp you used! Wishing you and your family the happiest of holidays!

I just love the bendi card. This would be so nice to just display around the house at Christmas time. I am going to make a few of these with different designs for next year - thanks for the inspiration!

All three creations are FABULOUS Shannah!!! I'm so glad that the candle rubbed onto paper worked so well and the result is awesome! Love the way that you are using the Silhouette - I have one but have trouble getting the cutting right, might need to pick your brain about blades/depths/Australian papers!!!
