Fairy Wishes

Hi Everyone!
Today I just wanted to share a card I made for the Whimsy Inspiration Magazine Issue 11 that I hadn't shared here on my blog yet. You can still order the printed version of this magazine at Whimsy Stamps HERE, or view the online version HERE.
For this card I used the digital image “Faithful Companion" by Fairy Dust Images, and a digital sentiment from "Fall Fairy Wishes" by StampArt by Kathryne - both available at the Whimsy Stamps Store.

 

 The image is coloured with Copic Markers - you can see all my colours listed below...

Here are my Step by Step Instructions:
1. Create a 5 ½” x 5 ½” square card blank using white card stock.
2. Cover card front with dark purple cardstock 5 ½" square.
3. Cut a panel of Basic Grey Wisteria slightly smaller than the card front and attach using double sided tape.
4. Cut another piece of dark purple card stock approx. 5” x 2 ½”, and a piece of co-ordinating Basic Grey Wisteria to fit inside, and adhere to bottom of card.
5. Die-cut Fleur de Lis Rectangle, and mount coloured image which is trimmed to fit.
6. Mount this panel at top of card.
7. Die-cut a tab from the dark purple c/s, and then print and cut out your sentiment to fit neatly inside. Ink around your sentiment and then attach to the purple tab.
8. Centre the sentiment tab below your image.
9. Glue on green leafy flourishes, and embellish with roses and pearls.
