Welcome to another great Whimsy Inspiration Challenge! Our theme this week is "Emboss It!" This could be Wet or Dry Embossing - take your pick or try both! ;)
You don't have to use a Whimsy image, but it would be great if you did! And it doesn't have to be a card - we welcome all paper projects. Don't forget to check out the challenge details - and your chance to be a Guest Designer with us - over at the Whimsy Inspirations Challenge Blog!
I really love texture on cards, and have lots of fabulous embossing folders to play with (mostly gifts from my lovely SCS Chickies when I first got my Cuttlebug!) For this challenge I decided to use my SU Square Lattice Embossing Folder to give a pretty background to some simple notecards.
The images are from the Paisley Collection released this month by Moon Cookie Gallery. There are five Paisley images - three of which are floral and two of butterflies - and all found at the fabulous Whimsy Stamps Store.
I wanted to try different colours, so I made a 'butterfly set', and a 'floral set' of little notecards - hope you like them!
